Iara Ferreira was shopping alone at a Miami supermarket when, she says, an employee approached her and asked her to leave.

The Brazilian model and influencer says the man, who was also Brazilian, recognized her from her OnlyFans account and assumed she was going to flaunt herself and film content inside the store. She denies it: she says her look “was not scandalous”, that it’s the same look she wears every day in Brazil, and that nothing like this had ever happened to her before.

“I felt humiliated; I was in shock when he kicked me out of the supermarket, shouting”, she told a British media outlet. To her, what happened was pure prejudice: “It’s only because I’m hot”. Ferreira admits that she films in public, but says she always does so discreetly and without bothering anyone.

This isn’t the first time she’s been judged for her work. She said that on a beach in Brazil, while wearing a thong-style swimsuit, three women called her “ignorant” and asked her if she sold nude photos.

Prejudice against her work, or was it justified to kick her out of the premises?🤔
