Fábio Paim had everything it took to become a legend. In Portugal, they said he was “better than Cristiano Ronaldo”, a teammate of the Portuguese star himself in youth national teams, with a future that seemed written in advance. That future never came: he went to prison accused of drug trafficking, and his career faded amid injuries and controversy.
Now retired, Paim surprised everyone with a turn no one expected. He made his debut as an adult film actor and did not hide his satisfaction: “It is difficult to be in front of the camera, but I did it and I think I have talent for it… I fulfilled two dreams: making the film and being with two spectacular women”, he said in remarks reported by the Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manhã.
According to his account, it all started as a joke that got out of hand. “One day I woke up and read on the front pages: ‘Fábio Paim wants to be an adult film star.’ Then I thought: since I have the fame, I am really going to make the film”, he recounted. What he said jokingly ended up becoming his new chapter in life.
