Vozinha knew fame would bring applause; he didn’t know it would also take away his space to feel at ease 🧤⚽

After his performance with Cabo Verde at the 2026 World Cup, the goalkeeper said in an interview with The Observer that his personal life had changed: he goes out to eat, and someone comes over to ask for a photo or an autograph. ““I’ve lost my peace and tranquility. I no longer have privacy””, he said. Even when someone films him, he feels there’s little he can do to stop it.

Recognition has its bright side, but Vozinha was clear: if he could choose, he would return to the life he had before. A confession that reminds us that behind every jersey there’s also someone who needs a moment without cameras 📸
