Erling Haaland scored the two goals with which Norway beat Brazil 2-1
It is the first time in history that Norway has reached the quarterfinals of a World Cup, and Haaland became the first player from his country to score two goals in a knockout match in a major tournament.
His coach, Ståle Solbakken, did not hesitate to call it “the greatest night in the history of Norwegian football”.
After the match, Haaland said he would have liked to be out in the streets celebrating with his people.
Norway now awaits England in the quarterfinals against England .
