Sophie Rain remembers the nearly empty fridge of her childhood in a Christian household that survived on food stamps.
Today, at 21 years old, she is one of the world’s most lucrative content creators: she has earned more than 85 million dollars since late 2023. In October 2025, she decided that all proceeds raised on September 30 would go to Feeding America, a network fighting hunger in the United States. Her followers responded in just 24 hours and raised around 121.000 dollars, enough to provide food for nearly 1,2 million people.
“I know what it’s like to open the fridge and find almost nothing”, she told PEOPLE magazine. She also recalled watching her parents choose between paying the rent and buying food. That memory, she says, is what drives her to keep donating as long as the money keeps coming in. She is already preparing a new campaign for the holiday season.
