Vivi Voyage returned to France and encountered something she no longer remembered.
The French content creator, who lives in Mexico, got used to showering every day there. When she returned to her family’s home, the habit clashed with reality: water and electricity cost so much that consumption is monitored almost down to the last detail. So much so that she went four days without washing her hair.
Her reflection became a topic of conversation on social media: “In France, showering every day is a privilege, so I left the fourth world for the third world”.
Her experience brought to light that living in a European country doesn’t always mean having better conditions in every respect. Sometimes, even the most basic parts of a daily routine come at a price.
