Dr. Victor Acharian, from Pau, France, said he did not have the training to treat trans people and offered to refer her. Up to that point, many defend him. The problem was what he wrote afterward on Google: that he only treats “real women” and that he does not have the skills to treat men “even if they shave their beards and say they have become women”.
The Medical Council found out and sanctioned him with a six-month suspension, five suspended and one effective.
