Cantona didn’t think twice: he jumped over the barrier and delivered a kung-fu-style flying kick, followed by several punches. English football was never the same.
He received an 8-month suspension and a hefty fine, but he never apologized. Decades later, in the documentary “The United Way” (2021), he uttered the line that is still repeated in the stands: “I should have hit him harder”. 🔥
