“I do six hours a day”. That’s how Mike Tyson summed up his training routine to Jimmy Kimmel, who couldn’t hide his look of horror.

When Iron Mike was 58 and preparing to get in the ring against Jake Paul, an opponent 31 years younger. “I start at 11 in the morning and can leave the gym at 5 in the afternoon”, he said.

Kimmel put his hands on his head and let out an “Oh no!”. Though the figure may sound like a marathon, Tyson clarified that it isn’t six hours straight: there are blocks of boxing, strength training, and conditioning.

A break after boxing and an hour of massage to finish. Even so, the full day takes up almost the entire day for a man who is now 60 years old and was champion between 1987 and 1990.
