“I think anyone who spends 98 million dollars on a house, or 60 million dollars on a house, is wasting their money” – Tom Holland’s particular opinion

Tom Holland called spending tens of millions on a house a waste. In an interview with GQ, he said that anyone who spends 98 million dollars—or even 60 million—is wasting their money. His stance contrasts with an industry where buying mansions worth tens of millions has become almost a standard of success.

His own idea of enough is much more modest: around 1,1 million pounds, especially in London. And when talking about how he uses his money, Holland put a family priority front and center: helping his grandmother live closer to the family.

Between a mansion worth tens of millions and that family goal, his idea of luxury is less about accumulating square footage and more about shortening distances.
