Georgina Rodríguez now lives surrounded by luxury, but she hasn’t forgotten where she came from.
In an interview with El País magazine, now being revisited by TN, Cristiano Ronaldo’s partner recalled her life before fame: “I was also happy working as a waitress and serving 10-euro menus”. She clarified that she never looked down on those first jobs. She enjoyed being a waitress just as much as ironing sheets or selling handbags, and her greatest satisfaction was coming home knowing she had done her job well.

Her dream was to move to Madrid to study Business Administration. There, she got a job at Gucci that brought her closer to the world of fashion, and she described it this way: “When I walked into a luxury boutique, it was like walking into a museum for me”. According to reports, it was in that store that she met the footballer, in 2016.
From 10-euro menus to life with Cristiano Ronaldo, Georgina’s story is a reminder that happiness doesn’t always depend on the size of your bank account.
