Far from thinking only about his own safety, Gustavo became the animal’s shield: he held it in his arms, gently stroked it, and whispered in its ear that he would not abandon it. 🌊🐕
For hours, with the water covering his waist, he was the only refuge for that defenseless soul until firefighters managed to bring them to safety in a crane. 🥺✨
