The University of Reading simulated 10,000 versions of the 2026 World Cup and the result is a bombshell: Argentina leads the favorites ranking, followed by France and Spain. 🇦🇷🏆

Economist James Reade, director of the study, acknowledged it bluntly: “What stands out most is the parity at the top. France and Spain are practically indistinguishable in the model, and England is not far behind.” Brazil appears fourth, Colombia seventh, and Uruguay tenth. The hosts Mexico (15), the U.S. (19), and Canada (24) do not come out looking very good.
