She was found asleep at the wheel, stopped at a traffic light, at 2:30 in the morning in Peachtree City, Georgia. It was January 2022, and the driver was Tiffany Haddish, the 46-year-old comedian everyone remembers from “Girls Trip”.
This Tuesday, more than four years later, she pleaded guilty to one DUI charge. The court credited her for the time she had already served after the arrest, so she will not spend any extra time in a cell: 12 months of probation, a ban on alcohol and drugs, a DUI course, and her license suspended in Georgia. All other traffic charges were dropped.
It is not the first time. In 2023, she was arrested again for the same thing in Beverly Hills, and she also resolved that case without an extra day in prison.
