Canelo Álvarez already has the venue for his farewell in mind.

In an interview with ESPN, the boxer from Guadalajara said he wants his final fight to be in Mexico and envisions himself fighting at Estadio Azteca, now Estadio Banorte.

He estimates that 4 or 5 more fights will be enough. His words: “We have to be realistic; if it were up to me, it would never be enough, but I think 4-5 more fights are enough”.

He also said that he feels very good physically and could fight many more times, but that he has other goals outside boxing.

For now, there is no date, opponent, or official announcement. What is confirmed is his next fight: on October 31 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, against the undefeated Christian Mbilli.
