A passenger went viral after refusing to switch his window seat to a child during a flight, sparking an intense debate on social media.
According to the man himself, the child’s mother began complaining to him and even recorded him because he did not want to give up the seat he had previously paid for. However, his response ended up spreading across the internet: “Life does not always work out the way we want”. In addition, he allegedly told her that, “if she wanted that seat for her son, she should have bought it from the beginning”.
The passenger explained that he had specifically chosen and paid for that seat, also saying that it was important to teach the child that you cannot always get everything you want. While some criticized him for a lack of empathy, thousands of users came out to defend him on social media.
