The Puerto Rican model Yillian Atkinson publicly accused singer Ozuna of alleged physical abuse, verbal abuse, and harassment during a romantic relationship that, according to her, the two kept private.
Atkinson decided to take her accusations to social media and published a series of photographs, screenshots of conversations, and call logs that she says support her version of events.
Among the images she shared is a photograph showing an injury on her lip, as well as other images showing marks that she presents as resulting from the alleged incidents of violence.
She also published a photograph of an apparently damaged camera, accompanied by the message: “What he did to my camera”, suggesting that the damage may have occurred during one of the incidents she denounced.
But the photographs were not the only thing she showed.
Atkinson also shared screenshots of private conversations featuring arguments, grievances, and messages of a romantic nature. In one of them, one can read: “I have put up with enough of you continuing to humiliate me”.
Another conversation contains a much more confrontational message: “I told you very clearly to leave me alone and not associate me with you because I respected you”.
The model also published messages showing the alleged romantic relationship between them, including one in which she says: “I love you more, and I think about you every day”.
But perhaps the strongest statement was the warning she posted alongside a photograph in which she appears with Ozuna: “If anything happens to me, it was Juan Carlos Ozuna”.
The posts quickly began circulating on social media and sparked reactions among the followers of both.
So far, Ozuna has not been declared responsible for these events, and there has been no independent confirmation of the accusations made by Atkinson. The allegations are based on the model’s public statements, and it remains to be seen whether the singer will issue a response.
The case, however, has already gained traction on social media after Atkinson chose not to limit herself to telling her side of the story and published photographs and conversations that, according to her, show part of what happened during the relationship.
