The legal case against Alexis Mac Allister has remained open since 2023, three years after their relationship ended, and is moving forward —according to her— with a slowness that is driving her to despair. “It’s not something I did yesterday”, she clarified, tired of people talking about the matter as if it were recent.
But what weighs on her most is not the justice system, but social media. Cami described the script that plays out every time she makes a claim: they call her a gold digger, tell her she doesn’t work, and say she deserves for something bad to happen to her, simply because she is a woman and asks for what she considers fair. “I didn’t do anything bad to anyone”, she concluded, fed up with carrying a label that —she insists— does not belong to her.
