Lottie Weaver, a mom of three girls, posted a video on TikTok declaring that her daughters have no obligation to share their toys, snacks, or anything else at the park. 🙅♀️ Her reasons: 1) you should have brought your own things, 2) that toy isn’t yours, and 3) no one has to say yes just because someone asks.

She especially defends this last point for girls. Some applaud: “She’s right, adults don’t share our things”. Others explode: “I’m a teacher and this is sad, it’s the foundation of learning”. 😤 Is sharing a virtue that must be taught or an unfair imposition we place on children? 👇
