According to what she said, it was not an impulsive decision: years of laziness, claiming as her own the much-used phrase “This house is not a hotel”, conflicts, repeated acts of disrespect, and problems living together led her to ask her daughter to leave the home.
For many, it is a lesson that respect has no exceptions, not even with family. For others, a mother who kicks out her daughter can never be justified.
