The argument seemed unbeatable: “You’re Carlos Tévez. How could you not buy your daughter a car?”. There was plenty of money. But the Apache’s response was different.

“If you want a car, save your money and buy it yourself”. Tévez said he wouldn’t mind if she ended up working at McDonald’s, as long as it taught her what it feels like to earn something with her own hands.

He knows this well. He didn’t get his first car until he was 21, and before that he had already worked enough to buy a house for his father.
“It’s tough, but she has to learn it”, he admitted.
