Victoria Villarroel, a Venezuelan influencer and former assistant to Kylie Jenner, set social media ablaze with an episode of her podcast in which she described a British ex-boyfriend from 2023 who hid her on social media and assured her he would “never” date a celebrity, would never take her to a red carpet, and would never set foot at the Met Gala. 💥 The similarities to Callum Turner’s public story, newly married to Dua Lipa in Sicily, did the rest: users on TikTok and Reddit connected every detail, including the fact that Dua Lipa said she met Turner at London’s River Café, the same place where Villarroel claims she was the night her ex noticed the woman who is now his wife. 😮

Villarroel’s defenders say she simply shared her experience, recorded in February 2026, long before the wedding. The other side argues that the timing, just as the entire press was celebrating the marriage in Sicily, was no coincidence. 🔥 None of the three—Villarroel, Turner, nor Dua Lipa—has confirmed or denied that the story is about them.

Did Villarroel have every right to speak, or are there things from the past that are better left undisturbed? 👇
