What was supposed to be a routine waxing session ended up going much further than expected. In October 2018, Iggy Azalea publicly revealed that she had suffered a curious accident during a “Brazilian wax”: the wax ended up reaching an area that clearly wasn’t part of her plans.
The Australian singer was 28 when she decided to share what happened on Twitter. Her explanation was as direct as it was unexpected:
“I got a Brazilian today and the girl accidentally waxed my butthole clean off. Can’t say I’ll miss it.”
“I got a Brazilian today and the girl accidentally waxed my butt completely. I can’t say I’ll miss it.”
Azalea didn’t say she had been injured; rather, she used exaggeration to humorously explain that the waxer had accidentally removed the hair from that area.
The incident happened during a “Brazilian wax”, a procedure that removes much of the pubic hair using wax. In her case, however, the treatment accidentally went a little further than planned.
The post quickly drew attention because of the unusual confession, but also because Iggy decided to turn a potentially awkward situation into a public anecdote. Instead of hiding the accident, she simply decided to tell her followers about it and laugh at what happened.
And her punchline was probably the best part: after all, she said she wasn’t going to miss the hair she had accidentally lost.
