Mike Tyson showed up with a little box in his hand and an apology he had owed since 1997.
That night in Las Vegas, during the rematch against Evander Holyfield, Tyson lost his temper and bit off a piece of his ear.
He was disqualified on the spot, and the image went around the world as one of boxing’s darkest moments.
Sixteen years later, Foot Locker brought them together for its ‘Week of Greatness’ campaign and filmed something no one imagined: Tyson hands Holyfield a little box containing the supposed piece of ear, asks him for forgiveness, and they both end up embracing.
The video went viral in 2013 and, to this day, someone shares it again as one of the great moments between sports and comedy.
