It was his masseur who noticed that something was wrong and immediately called a doctor. At the hospital, the news was devastating: he had suffered a stroke and needed emergency surgery. Nothing in his body had warned him.
What came next was the hardest part. He was left paralyzed on his left side and, for a time, lost the ability to speak. He himself admitted that he hated that forced silence and had to learn all over again, word by word, how to communicate with the world. 💙
In September 2025, more than a decade later, he still talks about his left leg and what the stroke left him with. The man who seemed indestructible on screen has spent 14 years demonstrating a much more real kind of strength: continuing to show up, continuing to speak, continuing to choose not to give up. 🌟
