While Argentina was competing in the 2026 World Cup, Antonela Roccuzzo set aside the tournament’s euphoria to do something no one expected: open her Instagram stories and urgently ask for help for Venezuela. 🙏

On June 25, just one day after two earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 struck the Venezuelan coast only 39 seconds apart, the Rosario-born businesswoman shared a GoFundMe link from the We Love Foundation with a message of solidarity. The toll was devastating: at least 188 dead, more than 1,520 injured, 157 missing — among them seven Venezuelan soccer players still unaccounted for — and La Guaira declared a disaster zone. 💔

It was not the only famous voice: Ricardo Montaner, Catherine Fulop, J Balvin, and Carlos Baute also mobilized their platforms. But Antonela’s gesture, from the epicenter of the global soccer celebration, was the one that resonated the most. 🌍
