Raphael Samuel is a 27-year-old young man, a businessman from Mumbai, India, who has become a headache for his parents after publicly declaring that he will not work in any kind of job and that he even threatened to sue them for bringing him into the world without his permission. “I want everyone to realize that we are born without our consent”, he said.

The story came to light when Raphael shared a video on YouTube explaining his stance: “if human beings are born without having given their authorization to exist, they should not be obligated to work or contribute to the system”.

His mother, who is a lawyer just like his father, reacted with disbelief to her son’s stance and said: “Someone explain to me how he could have given his approval before being born”, she said, accepting the blame if that were possible.
