Noah Alef is only 26 years old, but he has clear goals: to give visibility to the indigenous community in the fashion industry and save money to give his mother, originally from Brazil, a decent home.
In recent years, inclusion has become almost a fundamental element in all the different areas of work worldwide. A living example of this is Noah Alef, who despite being of indigenous origin, managed to establish himself in the world of international modeling, breaking stereotypes.

Noah Alef is 26 years old, but from a young age he knew what it was like to work to support himself. That is why the young man from Brazil began earning his pennies when a supermarket chain hired him as a bagger at one of its branches.
But that was not enough. Since the money was still not quite enough for him, at the same time Alef had to look for a second job. That was how he also became an assistant to a local painter.

Even so, despite having two jobs, it was not what Noah expected for his life. One of the young man’s greatest dreams was to become a runway model, but he thought he would never achieve it. The reason? He is of Pataxó origin, a small indigenous community in Bahia, a region of Brazil.
The young man well knew that because he was indigenous, he did not fit the classic European model stereotype. Even so, he decided to try his luck on his social media, to try to become an influencer and make himself known in the field.
Fortunately, thanks to Noah’s effort and perseverance, in just a few months his social media accounts started to skyrocket. On TikTok he already has more than 1,7 million followers and on Instagram 290 thousand users enjoy the young man every day.

Noah Alef’s strategy hit the nail on the head. Today the man has become a runway model just as he always wanted. Armani, the renowned Italian clothing brand, has just hired him to participate in the latest show they held in the city of Milan, where Fashion Week is currently being held.
“Every day I think about what I have gone through to get here. How long did it take me to get here? I am very happy for my perseverance and for always keeping faith in this dream (…) I want indigenous beauty to be more valued! The goal is to give visibility to my people through fashion and draw attention to the many problems we face”.
Noah Alef told Terra.

Today Noah has two clear goals: to keep modeling to make room for the indigenous community in the fashion industry. The second is more personal. To save money from each runway job so he can buy his mother a house. He is grateful.
