Model Samantha Batallanos caused a stir on Peruvian television after showing the penthouse where she lives in San Isidro, which costs the modest sum of twelve thousand soles per month (about $3,300).
Given the big question of how she finances that lifestyle at 30 years old, the former Miss Grand Peru spoke with Magaly Medina to clarify that it is all the result of her effort. “I work a lot, I do many shows in the provinces”, she explained to clear up the mystery of her income.
The influencer corrected the host about her real earnings and confessed that her luxuries are due to a combination of events, advertising, and high-end car brands. In addition, she made it clear that her television appearances come at a cost, stating that “every time I go to a channel, I am always working, I do not go for free”.
To tone down the criticism, she said that her home is not the palace everyone imagines. As she explained, it is an eighty-square-meter space in an old building where she lives only with her sister. “Don’t think it’s some huge apartment”, she joked, assuring that even her parents’ house is much nicer than her exclusive little corner.
