Marta Kelly was 33 years old and had half a million people watching her life through a screen.
She was Brazilian, the mother of Theo, Ravi, and Filippo, and shared her day-to-day life with them through fashion and motherhood videos. On August 12, she underwent a “three-in-one” surgery: liposuction, breast implants, and abdominoplasty. She was discharged the next day, but two days later she returned to the hospital feeling unwell. She did not leave alive.
Her husband, Marcus Vinicius, wrote the farewell on Instagram: “We have lost the battle”. He said that she fought “until the very last moment, with all her strength”, and promised to raise their children “the way she would have wanted”, telling them through photos and stories who their mother was. Fifteen years together ended in a letter in which he simply asks her to rest while he takes care of the three children alone.
