Experts concluded that the 73-year-old former performer suffers from “”severe dementia”” and is mentally incapacitated, with little chance of recovery. As a result, he will be declared unfit to stand trial on charges involving 21 women and young women.
The prosecutor in the case confirmed that, if he does not improve, they will not be able to try him or pursue other measures to bring justice to the victims. The judge ordered the psychiatric evaluation after Jeremy’s own lawyer reported that his client had been unable to recognize him in his cell.
