It happened on Saturday, December 7 in Sri Lanka, on a train traveling along the country’s coast when a woman decided it was the perfect moment for a risky selfie.
She stuck half her body out the window, held onto the railing, and smiled, but she failed to realize that just a few meters ahead, a tree was in her path. The impact was so strong that she fell into the void and got caught among the branches, while the train kept moving.
The passengers traveling with her began to scream. Fortunately, the tourist did not suffer serious injuries because the bushes cushioned her fall.
The video of the accident went viral within hours, and the local police reminded everyone that they had already warned about the importance of following safety measures.
