In Montecito, there’s a piece of gossip repeated among domestic staff: no one wants to work for Meghan Markle. 🧹
According to a source cited by Page Six, the duchess personally conducts interviews to hire cleaning staff at her California mansion, and that’s where things go wrong.

They describe her as “very snooty and rude”, to the point that several candidates left feeling offended. The story spread so quickly among the area’s workers that it became a familiar joke: everyone, somehow, ends up turning down the position.

The report could not be confirmed with the Sussexes’ representatives, who did not respond. But it reopens a pattern that had already been seen before: during her time as a royal in the United Kingdom, Meghan faced similar accusations of mistreating palace staff, in an internal investigation whose findings were never made public.

Now, thousands of miles from London, the same question is once again hovering over Montecito.
