Supermodel Ashley Graham, 38, has spoken out against Hollywood’s growing obsession with weight-loss drugs known as GLP-1 medications.
After years of promoting body acceptance, the activist believes this trend is “a slap in the face” to those who had finally found space in the fashion industry.
In her view, the world is slipping back toward extreme thinness, overlooking the progress achieved by the body positivity movement.
“This medication isn’t going to erase an entire statistic of women,” Ashley said in an interview published on April 30, 2026. She added that, regardless of how the industry shifts, she will remain focused on designing inclusive clothing, such as her recent collection with JCPenney.
Despite her concerns, she believes confidence has no size limits and that there will always be women proud of their curves.
