Recently, a 7.4-magnitude earthquake shook Colombia and left behind split buildings, streets covered in rubble, and entire families with nothing recognizable left of their homes. 😔
Amid that chaos of broken concrete, someone found something that should not have survived: an image of the Virgin of Guadalupe, with its colors as visible as if the disaster had never passed through there. The photograph was taken and within minutes it was everywhere, shared on Facebook and X by thousands of people who could find no other word to describe it than “miracle”.
No one has yet confirmed who took the photo or exactly where in the country that image was found. But while authorities continue to assess the earthquake damage, there is already something stronger than uncertainty on social media: the faith of thousands who saw it and felt they needed to believe in it. 🕯️
