For five seconds, thousands of people thought there was a monster on that couch.
The photo, shared by user @itsazyo, showed a huge black head with panther-like yellow eyes and a Labrador’s snout and ears. Some people admitted it gave them chills, while others wondered whether it was a “cat-dog” or a “dog-cat.”
Until their brains caught up. They were actually two siblings: a black cat and a black dog. The cat had decided that its own bed wasn’t the best place for a nap — the top of its canine companion’s head was much better. Their dark fur blended together, making them look like one single creature. One user joked that they had connected to the same Wi-Fi to share body data.
Dogs and cats speak opposite body-language dialects, but when they grow up together, they learn to understand each other without a word. So much so that they sleep cuddled up until they become indistinguishable. 🥰
