Easton Blocker was 5 years old and already knew who his favorite person was.
For “Dress As Your Favorite Person Day”, the kindergarten student at Bobby G. Lester Elementary School in Jacksonville arrived dressed as Jeffery Cross, his school’s security officer. His mother, Lauryn Blocker, bought a yellow T-shirt and added the words “Junior Security”.
Easton called Cross his best friend and, according to Lauryn, would often come over to hug him. Cross, 35, said he was surprised the boy had chosen him and happily posed beside him in all the photos that day.
