Jake Paul woke up to news from Heather Hardy, who says she can no longer box and claims she can’t work either.

The 44-year-old former featherweight champion filed a lawsuit for more than 10 million dollars against Most Valuable Promotions, Jake Paul’s company.
According to the filing, the rematch against Amanda Serrano on August 5, 2023, in Dallas, was “the end of her career” and left her with a permanent brain injury. She lost by unanimous decision over ten rounds.

Hardy accuses the defendants of concealing who really controlled the promotion: they allegedly used Holden Boxing as a “liability shield”, leaving her without independent representation.
MVP denies everything. It says DiBella booked the fight and that Hardy herself publicly expressed gratitude for the opportunity before and after the bout.
