They met in 1999 on the set of “Big Daddy”, where she was working as a model while studying and he was already a comedy star.
They married in 2003 in an outdoor wedding in Malibu, with Jennifer Aniston among the guests. From then on, Jackie Titone became his life partner and, often, his co-star as well.
When AARP The Magazine asked him what the secret was to sustaining a marriage in a world as ever-changing as Hollywood, Sandler didn’t talk about romance or luxuries. “Jackie and I like spending time together. We try to make each other laugh, listen to each other, include each other, and support each other. We do the best we can, that’s all”, he confessed.
And he added something that says more than any declaration of love: “We never think about separating. We always talk about our future together”. Today, his daughters Sadie and Sunny are following in his footsteps in acting, raised with that same recipe of laughter and mutual support.
