Several months after the fight between Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua, the YouTuber’s defeat is still having repercussions beyond the tough professional setback.
This is because the content creator had to undergo surgical treatment after breaking his jaw and losing a tooth in the fight, aftereffects that keep his return to the ring in doubt according to Paul’s own words:
“I’m going to get new jaw scans in a couple of days to update the healing process. Will I be able to fight again? It’s definitely a possibility. I feel much better, but I need to be medically cleared, so it’s something that’s being considered. The future is uncertain, definitely”.
“I’m almost sure I’ll have to get a dental implant. I don’t know how long it will take, we have to see what’s best for me. My doctor, Armand Charlotte, doesn’t want me to fight again”, the American YouTuber concluded.
