Jamie Foxx was afraid. At 58, and after surviving a brain hemorrhage that left him unconscious for nearly 20 days in 2023, the idea of changing diapers again seemed crazy to him.
Then he ran into Al Pacino. Knowing that his co-star in Any Given Sunday had a baby at 83, Jamie took the opportunity to joke and asked him: “Al, are you going to get back in the school drop-off line for the kids?”. Immediately, Foxx thought: “Damn, if he went for it at that age, I’m perfectly fine at 58!”. That encounter and the immense relief of feeling “young” next to Pacino ultimately convinced him.
Today, Foxx is expecting his third child, the first with his 31-year-old girlfriend, Alyce Huckstepp. His older daughters, Corinne and Anelise, were pillars in his recovery, and now he is preparing to start over, at peace after seeing Pacino go for the same thing. 👨👧👦
