The best part of this story is that he didn’t even return her call when she tried to meet him. And he ended up becoming her husband! 😂
It all began in 1984, when Jamie Lee Curtis was flipping through a Rolling Stone magazine with her friend Debra Hill. There she came across a photo of Christopher Guest, a member of Spinal Tap, and was so smitten that she announced she would marry him.
She got his number through his agent and left him a message, but Christopher never called her. Some time later, they happened to be at the same restaurant in Hollywood, greeted each other, and he called her the next day.
They had their first date in July, and on December 18 of that same year, they got married. Later, they built a family with their two daughters, Annie and Ruby.
And there’s a lovely detail: after more than 40 years of marriage, they still have that magazine photo that started it all in their home. ❤️
