Four women broke their silence. Their allegations against 54-year-old Jared Leto appear in a new BBC documentary called “Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret”, and describe encounters with the actor when they were much younger and he was already an established Hollywood star.
The accounts place the events between 2002 and 2016, in different cities, with a recurring pattern. Leto’s fame as a gateway and silence as a condition. The BBC says it had access to a confidentiality agreement sent to one of the women to prevent her from speaking about her relationship with him.
An employee of his band, Thirty Seconds to Mars, held nothing back. “Jared is one of the worst people I have ever worked for, in every possible way”. Leto has not responded to the allegations and faces no charges or confirmed police investigation. But this is already the second time multiple women have accused him of the same thing.
