John Cena was sitting calmly on The Tonight Show when Jimmy Fallon dropped the bombshell: Jason Earles, the actor who played Jackson on Hannah Montana, is exactly the same age as him. They were both born in 1977.
Cena couldn’t process it. Laughing, he admitted that during the filming of the Disney series he was convinced Earles was a real teenager, and that when they told him his actual age, he thought they were playing a cruel prank on him.
The clip went viral, and Earles didn’t stay quiet: he posted on Instagram a photo recreating another one they took 16 years ago, along with a message that sums it all up: “We’re practically twins! You were a gentleman 20 years ago and you continue to be a hero. You’re like the older brother, by 3 days, that I always wanted”. Followers were quick to fill the comments with laughter.
