The actor himself confessed it on The Graham Norton Show: it is women who ask him for a hug and, while they’re at it, to move their husbands or boyfriends out of the photo. Momoa, generous with the joke, obliges every time. He pushes heads aside, draws confused faces, does Khal Drogo-style dips with women dressed as Daenerys, and even signs the face of the husband who was left out of focus, as if signing the defeat.
Graham Norton showed several of those images on the show and even had his other guests, Bill Bailey and Darcey Bussell, recreate the “love triangle” live. The pattern repeats so often that it is no longer an anecdote: it is practically a viral tradition. The husbands, resigned, already know what awaits them every time their partner approaches Momoa. 🦈
