The announcement of the Brazilian national team roster for the World Cup caused a lot of surprise, one in which coach Carlo Ancelotti put his trust in Neymar to return to the team.
A large part of the country was expecting Neymar’s return, including his own teammates, as is the case with Joao Pedro, the Chelsea forward who some time ago described the Santos star like this:
“I want to see him at the Cup, just as Messi shows up for Argentina, Neymar does for Brazil. He is my idol, I hope he can be at the Cup and be there with him, I hope to see him there”, the striker said.
The sad part of the situation is that, according to the Brazilian press, it was Joao Pedro himself who was harmed by Neymar’s presence, who until the very last minute had reportedly been a doubt for Ancelotti.
