“Justice for Solovino!”: They gave him a bed, food, and a job at a gas station in Toluca — a car ran him over and the driver fled

Solovino arrived at a gas station in Toluca with nothing, looking only for a roof over his head for the night.

The attendants at the ‘La Jet’ station, on Paseo Tollocan, adopted him without thinking twice.

They gave him food, his own bed, and even a custom-sized uniform, because to them he was no longer a stray dog: he was another member of the team.

Since January 2026, he had been wandering among the gas pumps as if he had been there all his life, and hundreds of people on social media fell in love with his story.

On the night of August 17, a car entered the gas station and ran him over. The workers only heard the screeching tires and saw the vehicle drive away into the darkness.

Solovino died from the injuries sustained in the impact, and the driver never stopped to ask for help or show his face.

Now there is only one demand: that they review the security cameras and find the person responsible.

The gas station that gave Solovino a family can now only ask for justice for him.
