Former Brazilian footballer Kaká spoke about the divorce he went through with his former partner and the change it caused in his personality:
“In 2015, my ex-wife no longer wanted to be married to me. I did everything so that the divorce would not happen, because we are taught that a Christian does not marry only to later get divorced. But there came a moment when she did not want it anymore. She signed the divorce papers and that was the end, the story ended there with two wonderful children”
“I stayed single for a year, trying to process the situation, conducting myself as a Christian and talking with pastors. But I understood that, if you are a Christian and seek the Lord, that is fine, but if your spouse does not want to, you say amen and leave in peace. You must not force things”, concluded the former Ballon d’Or winner in 2007.
