On Thursday, October 1, Gypsy Rose Blanchard sent him a birthday message. No one replied. According to TMZ, his brother Dylan went to the house in Raceland, Louisiana, and found him dead. Around 18:15, the emergency call came in to the Lafourche Sheriff’s Office, but the deputies could no longer do anything.
Gypsy Rose told People that it may have been an apparent overdose, although she clarified that she doesn’t know what substance was involved or whether it was intentional. That’s her account, not an official conclusion: authorities have not announced a cause of death, and the investigation remains open.
She also spoke about the harassment he faced on social media and how he hadn’t been in a good place emotionally lately. The media don’t even agree on what to call them: some say boyfriend, others fiancé, and others ex-partner. The only thing certain is that they share a daughter, Aurora Raina, born in December 2024.
