Khloé Kardashian, 42, shared the news on the September 30 episode of her podcast ‘Khloé in Wonder Land’, while chatting with her guest Paige DeSorbo. She explained that she has a frozen embryo from her in vitro fertilization process with Tristan Thompson, and joked that it was ‘on ice’. But she clarified that she doesn’t really know what to do with it.
What caught people’s attention most came afterward. Khloé said that True, her 8-year-old daughter, ‘knows she has a sister in the freezer’ and tells people about it. She laughed and cautioned that it needed context, because anyone would think she was keeping a little girl in her refrigerator.
Although she tells the story humorously, it leaves a question hanging in the air: how much does an 8-year-old girl really understand about embryos and in vitro fertilization? Khloé acknowledged that an embryo transfer doesn’t guarantee a pregnancy and that she doesn’t even know if she has the emotional capacity for a third child. If she did, she would prefer to be married and use a surrogate.
